Cabinet Refacing 101

  1. Door Style: page 2 has reference for the many door styles available

  2. Wood Species: reference page 2 for the options available. Note it is important to

    understand that wood species determines color.

  3. Please note the 2 elements above determine cost of project.

  4. Process begins with removal of existing doors, moldings & drawer fronts, ( if new drawer

    boxes are not included ).

  5. Existing cabinets are prepared for new material to be applied ( wood veneers or

    laminate ).

  6. The complete exterior of existing cabinets is refaced, new moldings fabricated from same

    wood species you have selected are applied, where appropriate.

  7. Note, when using wood veneers all material, doors, & moldings, are stained & finished

    prior to installing in your kitchen.

  8. Material whether veneer, or laminate, glue is applied to cabinets & material to be applied

    & adhered to cabinets creating a tremendous bond that is guaranteed to not come

    unglued.

  9. Upon completion of cabinet refacing, installation of moldings, doors & drawer fronts are

    installed.

  10. Note all doors, & materials used, are custom fabricated & finished, to the specifications of

    your kitchen.

11. If you decide to have new custom drawer boxes fabricated, we install them at this time.

Roll -outs can also be included into any base cabinets, or pantry units you desire.

  1. Prior to reface any custom cabinets you may wish to include in your lay out can be added,

    & refaced with existing cabinets for a complete uniform design.

  2. Due to our commitment to excellence, our Cabinet refacing projects generally last a week

    in your residence. Refacing truly provides a transformative restoration of your existing kitchen, with all the available up grades you may consider important in your kitchen.
